Observation
What was recorded, by which source and under what conditions. A self-report remains a self-report.
METHOD / ITERATIVE LOOP
The method is deliberately simple enough to survive ordinary and difficult days. Interpretation is versioned rather than rewritten.
Record the observation, time and enough context to make it interpretable.
Record provenance, sensitivity and context.
Compare observations, alternative explanations and missing information.
Log protocol changes instead of rewriting history.
Retain uncertainty and invite external scrutiny before general claims.
The loop describes the working method, not a completed validation process. Sampling cadence, classification rules and review procedures remain under development. Public protocol revisions should state what changed, when and why. Missing records and retrospective notes remain identifiable.
INTERPRETATION DISCIPLINE
What was recorded, by which source and under what conditions. A self-report remains a self-report.
What the record may mean. Preserve competing explanations and uncertainty.
A proposition to examine further. A recurring pattern does not establish a cause.
